CAPO 3
[Verse 1]
G D
Lay down
Am Em
Your sweet and weary head
G D
Night is falling,
Am Em
You have come to journey's end
G D
Sleep now,
Am Em
And dream of the ones who came before
G D
They are calling
Am Em
From across the distant shore
Em G
Why do you weep
C D Em
What are these tears upon your face
G
Soon you will see
C D Em
All of your fears will pass away
G
Safe in my arms
C D
You're only sleeping
[Chorus]
G G
What can you see
C C
On the horizon
G G D D
Why do the white gulls call
G G
Across the sea
C C
A pale moon rises
G G D D
The ships have come to carry you home
[Verse 2]
Em Em
Dawn will turn
Am D
To silver glass
Em G
A light on the water
C D
All souls pass
G D
Hope fades
Am Em
Into the world of night
G D
Through shadows falling
Am Em
Out of memory and time
G D
Don't say
Am Em
We have come now to the end
G D
White shores are calling
Am Em
You and I will meet again
Em G
And you'll be here in my arms
C D
Just sleeping
[Chorus]
G G
What can you see
C C
On the horizon
G G D D
Why do the white gulls call
G G
Across the sea
C C
A pale moon rises
G G D D
The ships have come to carry you home
[Outro]
Em Em
All will turn
Am D
To silver glass
Em G
A light on the water
C D
All souls pass

Hey, thank you for your work you put into this tab, I think it's awesome.
I do have two minor corrections: I think the chords to "Dawn will turn" and "All will turn" should be Am Em instead of Am Am, and the last two lines should be "Grey ships pass / Into the west".
