This piece should be played very loosely, it is not designed to be played bang on the pulse in a robotic fashion. There are very limited dynamic markings as a piece in this style can be played and expressed in so many different ways. Alice was written over the course of a day and is an improvisation that I scored almost immediately afterwards. I hope you enjoy this piece and that you come back wanting more! Enjoy!
