ماخذ

Duets. Vol. 1 composed by Jean-Philippe Rameau. 1683-1764. Arranged by Michael & Kimberly Davenport. For clarinet & bass clarinet duet. Classical. baroque period. Duo score. 4 pages. Published by Alea Publishing. A7.ALEA1103. A contemporary of Bach, Handel, Scarlatti and Telemann, Jean-Philippe Rameau was one of the most important composers of the Baroque era. Although he is primarily known today for his operas, his output was large and diverse, including both sacred and secular vocal works, and a substantial number of instrumental pieces. These arrangements for clarinet and bass clarinet duet are taken from a few of Rameau's many charming pieces for solo keyboard. Keys have been changed, but the range and relationship between the parts remains faithful to the original. Volume 1 contains two short Minuets. The range is very limited for both players, and with simple rhythm and few technical demands, these pieces. either alone or as a set. would make for excellent teaching material for young students, or perhaps a nice choice for a first ensemble performance.
