The first descending light is in the person of Christ, the light of the world, to one day ascend to God the Father, the essence of all light. Another is the Star, descending to Earth to show us the coming of the Son of God. 'Joy to the World' is the perfect Christmas Carol for a new anthem on Christmas Day. This piece was presented to Timothy Kreuger, friend and teacher, Christmas, 2007.
